As Denver emerges as a model for urban renewal and innovation, Atlantic Media and Allstate will bring the inaugural event in The Renewal Series, the newest events platform from The Next Economy, to the Mile-High City. Headlined by Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock and Director of AmeriCorps Bill Basl, the event will convene local and national startups, incubators, community groups and members of local and national government for a summit on how cities like Denver are using innovative approaches to tackle the nation’s most pressing challenges.

The event will also serve as the official launch of The Renewal Awards, a new grant program that will spotlight and reward the people and organizations whose projects and ideas are driving measurable change in communities.

The Renewal Series: Denver will begin at 9:00 AM MT on March 11 at The Alliance for Sustainable Colorado. Press interested in attending should contact Jeff Cartwright at or 202-266-7405. A full lineup of speakers is below, and a full agenda will be released in the coming week.
